I've been looking for a long time for a set of knee pads that would fit my knees (women, regular size - not a HUGE worker!) that would stay in place during kneeling exercises. I've bought three other sets with no success, but THIS WORKS FOR ME! While the pads aren't gel filled and don't have ridges on the outside to prevent slipping, they are well padded on the inside to keep me comfortable for about an hour during a workout. Equally important to me is that they stay in place! Even if you're wearing slippery leggings or training shorts, this set's straps are designed to allow your knee to move independently of the padding. I don't know if this would make sense, but the top and bottom attachment straps are not molded parts of the lining itself. They are separate from the blocks. This allows the knees to be bent without the pads being pulled down with every movement. Oh, and the space for the kneecap itself is perfect for women or teens. I get it if you're a 300 lb male you might not like this. You would be too small. But perfect for me. I love her!
