I bought these (and matching elbow pads) for airsoft. I had my doubts at first but after using them a few times I can safely say they are awesome! Most knee pads either fall off while running or cut off blood flow. They stay in place and shouldn't be too tight for that. My only problem is that they sent me two right knee pads and two right elbow pads. Not left. Bought for airsoft use. So far I've used them for 3 full days of play and they're fantastic. They are very comfortable and I almost forget I'm even wearing them. They provide excellent protection for my knees and pants when kneeling on hard, uneven and wet surfaces. They have never fallen off or slipped off my feet, not once. I've been looking for a long time for a set of knee pads that would fit my knees (women, regular size - not a HUGE worker!) that would stay in place during kneeling exercises. I've bought three other sets with no success, but THIS WORKS FOR ME! While the pads aren't gel filled and don't have ridges on the outside to prevent slipping, they are well padded on the inside to keep me comfortable for about an hour during a workout.
