I had to drain my snow thrower and put it away for the summer. I didn't want to try to lift it, tip it, pour gas into a can or into a lawnmower. I KNEW how it would turn out. So I sent for this cheap siphon. It worked, I drained all the gas from the snow blower tank and poured it into the gas tank except for the rubbish I burned by running the engine for 10 minutes. . No big deal, it worked. I was afraid the fuel would eat up the plastic, so I poured soapy water into a bucket and drained it to get rid of the gas (and fumes) so the pump and my garage would last another day. This also worked but had to re-prime the bulb to let the soapy water through. Everything is good for the price. No gas in my lungs, no spills, no fumes. And I have it for another day/year.
