We actually purchased this heater for our back patio which is not enclosed. We live in Florida so it can get chilly in the winter months. We spend a majority of or time on the back patio year round. Even though this heater is designed for inside use it definitely takes the chill out of the air outside for us. The rotating feature allows us both to feel heat while sitting in out outdoor rockers. I have also used this heater in my office which is 14x14 and it warms it up in just a few minutes. I'm glad it has several heating levels because it allows me to reduce the heat once the office warms up. I researched so many heaters on Walmart and I'm very happy with the choice I made.
