The Merlin filter offers better value for money and fits well
When the Merlin was replaced by the Evolution, the activated carbon pre-filter seemed to increase in price even though it was only 2000 gallons over the time . Note that Merlin's filter was priced at 10,000. Is the new filter just less efficient or did they just want to shorten the interval to sell more filters? I think filter life depends on how bad your water is and how much chlorine is in it.
