I'm not a mechanic but I had no problem installing this replacement part when my factory fuel pump started leaking. The electrical connection was a bit risky, since it was not clear from the factory which (+) wire is positive and which (-). I made an educated guess and it worked. The only negative feedback is that the replacement fuel filter is not the right size for the factory installed gas line from the fuel tank. It would be nice to change the filter but my real goal was to replace a leaking fuel pump and this replacement part solved that problem. The kit came with a new replacement fuel pump, a small section of fuel line from the fuel filter to the pump, a new fuel filter and clamps. Considering the cost of this kit, if you just have a leaking fuel pump it's worth the money compared to the work of a repair service mechanic. I completed this repair in 30 minutes from start to finish.
