Nuvi 2495LMT. I come from a 3 year old Magellan GPS and Garmin GPS. I've also used GPS on an iPhone, both a navigator and a built-in one, again on iOS6. Overall, this is the best offline GPS I've ever used, almost as good as the iPhone. This GPS is generally very good. My main reason for taking it was to have something permanent in the minivan so I could leave my phone free for other things. It's fairly full-featured and in a winning position in terms of cost and features. The attitude was fine. As with many electronic devices, there aren't as many instructions here as we'd like. I was able to download the Mac installer, connect the GPS, and update the map and firmware in 40 minutes. It loads quickly and picks up a GPS signal within seconds. This GPS includes handy features like voice command (which can be activated at any time by saying "voice"), Bluetooth and lifetime maps. You can easily change the items on the display, such as B. time, altitude, speed, etc. Many people are dissatisfied with entering an address. It's not bad at all. If you want something in the same city, you can just enter the number and street. If you are in another city, please provide the number, street and city. And if you're in a different state, just enter the entire address. What's so difficult about that? It also gives you suggestions as you type, so you don't have to type your full name. Most of the things that cause complaints (missing charger, poor suction cup, etc.) are typical. Guess what? No suction cup is perfect. But this one is fine. GPS hasn't fallen off yet. My old one fell off every few months. Usually it doesn't matter much. Not perfect overall, but quite intuitive and feature-rich at a good price.
