I'm a dyer, not a car mechanic, but I can tell you that I am. I used this and it works as it should. Price when purchased separately. You will spend more. That's why I chose this one. This isn't a $40 tester, it goes beyond the chopper valve. Where the cheaper ones stay. You can check the fuel tank before the filter or if you have a car with a fuel tap you can check it. This is an OTC, well built, well worth the money.
