Attention, it's not as easy as it looks, additional costs

The instructions do not say that the reverse osmosis membrane housing is EXTREMELY difficult to open and requires additional tools not available. You have to make an extra trip to the store to buy a large, expensive tool. It negates the purpose of the system's budget countertop.
