I'm a big fan of magnetic phone connectors. I use them in my car and everywhere on my sailboat (which I live on). I like them because I don't have to position the phone precisely for the holder to hold it securely. The availability of this range of metal plates is a very economical way to avoid buying new mounts when I get a new phone or tablet. The variety of sizes is good, because I also use magnetic mobile phone holders for a TV remote control, for example. works very well on these plates, but I've always been able to remove the plates from phones without damaging the phone's finish.
