Review on 🏎️ Dorman 696-613 Air Intake Hose: Enhance Performance with Black Finish by Vladimir Castillo

Excellent replacement for my 2006 Mazda 6 3.0 liter V6 engine. The original is very hard and tough rubber. This replacement, although outwardly the same size, is a rubbery and flexible version. Not sure if this translates to decent product life or not, but it "should" allow for a better air filter change without splitting the harmonica part. I hope this one doesn't chip like the OEM does. Just take a look. The exchange lasted 5-10 minutes. Very simple (2 clamps and a valve/hose connector. Comes with a new spare valve on top. White thing in the picture). Better than the tape I used on the original. Note. If the OEM intake manifold cracks, the check engine light will illuminate. Your local auto parts store can give you the codes using a plug-in analyzer. I don't remember the codes, but if it's related to the air mixture etc. check the intake accordion parts. They're hard to see unless you bend them. Duct tape and restarting your computer will help you as long as you can get the spare part to fix it.
