Exactly the same part as in the store and SUPER easy to assemble!

My check engine light was still on in my Mazda 6 '06. There was a crack in this part that caused the oxygen sensors to work. Installed this before selling the car and it fixed the problem and sold the car for more than I would have gotten if the lights were on. Exact same part as Autozone, O'Reilly's, Advanced Auto, only $30-40 cheaper on Amazon. If you have a Phillips screwdriver, you can replace the part yourself. I saved $100-$150 by making it myself.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Not reliable

Fits perfectly and saved me over $200!

You know the local dealer and my mechanic wanted $250-$300 for this repair/replacement. I made it in under 30 minutes for less than $60! The item arrived on time and in good condition. They fit perfectly and after replacing them I immediately felt the difference. I taped the old hose to eliminate the lean code, but after replacing the intake hose the car runs smoother and seems to shift gears without some of the hesitation it had before. I don't know why but I'll take it.

Perfect fit for 2005 Mazda 6 with V6 engine.

Perfect for the 2005 Mazda 6 V6. It consists of a very flexible plastic, similar to children's rubber boots. It is not known how long this type of plastic will withstand the heat of the engine compartment. Another issue is whether the added flexibility of this type of problem will cause problems at high engine speeds when air is ingested at maximum force, which can create intake conditions that can lead to pipe rupture. The stock intake manifold was much stiffer and would not yield under such…

Perfect fit and great price

When my 2005 Mazda 6 3.0L dropped the CEL I was confused as to what was causing the lean fuel. After a little digging, I found that the air intake hose in the harmonica section had become brittle and cracked in a hard-to-reach spot. A temporary tape repair revealed that the cause of the CEL was a ruptured intake hose. After seeing OEM part prices and options available at auto parts stores, I was thrilled to find this option on Revain for half or less than anywhere else. If you have an old…

Good replacement for the stock intake hose on the Mazda 6 V6

Excellent replacement for my 2006 Mazda 6 3.0 liter V6 engine. The original is very hard and tough rubber. This replacement, although outwardly the same size, is a rubbery and flexible version. Not sure if this translates to decent product life or not, but it "should" allow for a better air filter change without splitting the harmonica part. I hope this one doesn't chip like the OEM does. Just take a look. The exchange lasted 5-10 minutes. Very simple (2 clamps and a valve/hose connector. Comes

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Protection

Great replacement rubber hose!

My air intake hose snapped trying to change the air filter on my 2006 Mazda 6s Wagon. Come back to the rescue with premium free same-day shipping and voila, the car is fixed. The part appears to be all rubber (according to the website) but actually feels like silicone, everything is flexible which I like compared to the original Mazda part (all hard plastic). Removing the hose is very easy. after removing the two clips with a Phillips screwdriver. It's easier if you remove the top of the box…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged
