7/2021 -- Great! This bag combines some items that I used to carry separately when kayaking; Music speaker, external battery charger, snack bag and stuff sack. I had to remember to pack all these things and sometimes I forgot one thing. Now all I remember is the bag and that bag contains bonuses I didn't have. The bag holds 20 liters so a good size but not too big. The included straps are very comfortable, adjustable and detachable. It's a beautiful bright yellow color that makes it easy to spot from afar. It definitely keeps everything inside dry and the water rolls off the outer material and dries quickly. Now for the fun part: -Bluetooth: very simple, connects in seconds with a long press of the power button. The speaker will say "Bluetooth is on" to let you know it's ready to pair. - Speakers: The speakers sound good. It plays pretty loud when you want it to, and the volume is controlled by your paired device (e.g. a phone). I had to turn the volume down a bit to hear my friends next to me. * I don't think the speaker part itself is waterproof. There's nothing to prevent it from getting wet, but I haven't tried submerging any part of the speaker in water.-Solar/Battery: I fully charged the case with the included charger and was able to play music for about 4 hours and paddle it didn't die. I had the solar panel open on my board so it could be charged by the sun even while in use. The charging port has a waterproof cover and looks solid. Lighting: Lighting is my favorite part. The panel will light up and you can scroll through and choose a static color or keep the colors dynamic. It's so bright it illuminates the whole bag like it's glowing! So you can see inside very well even in the dark. In addition, there are 2 round white turn signals on the outer panel, which also work as a flashlight from the outside. - Bonus Phone Case: It comes with a very nice high quality waterproof phone case. Remarks: When I first bought this bag, I received a defective one. It seemed to turn on right away, but the speaker didn't work and I couldn't turn off the light. I was so disappointed because I wanted to row the next morning and couldn't use it. I emailed the seller and sent the bag back. Then I found and bought a similar bag at a cheaper price from another company. It was terrible, the speaker broke on the first day. It also seemed cheap, and the lights were still hard to see, which added to my frustration. I sent this one back too. Just when I thought it wasn't supposed to be, a new Sun Gear bag arrived with a personal letter from the company apologizing and saying it was free for the negative experience I had. I was shocked! Not only did they handle it FAST, I didn't negotiate with anyone, spoke to anyone personally, and didn't even expect a new bag let alone for free. Well, that's GREAT customer service, a lost art these days. They stand behind their product and I can understand why. Excellent quality, works great, is unique and proves my first bag was an accident. I will update this review with the product over time.
