A lot of money for a home locksmith! I checked every detail in this clamp assembly and every hole and thread was fine. I like how the cleats snap into place fairly securely when screwed into the tees, which prevents them from protruding from the bottom of the tees and allows the nut to be tightened without turning. If you prefer to have loose threads through the tees, just run a tap through them. I see no reason to spend more than what I bought for this set for the price I paid. Do your research to get the best price and provocatively check the shipping costs on some sellers - they love to sell you for a lower price only to have their shipping costs increase way above what they should be. That's why I sometimes buy yellow bananas instead of green ones if I want to eat them now instead of waiting a few days! I'm just saying. All step clamps are very well matched to each other and hold securely without bending. The packaging was perfect, I had no damage or missing parts.
