I installed two of these into my car to control all of my interior and exterior lighting and I love them! Very easy to install. The brass/copper prong is your ground, the opposite silver prong is your input/power source, and the middle one is your output. I thought I had defective switches because I couldn't get the switch to rock back and forth but I didn't. If you flush mount these into a panel or something and they don't move i
