Happy with this fuse. My vacuum cleaner is back.

Received this today. I tested one for continuity and then used it to replace a blown fuse in my vacuum cleaner. I used a couple of wired adapter plugs to make the process easier, but I'm not an electrician so do it yourself or get professional risk assessment advice when modifying equipment. The vacuum cleaner started working immediately after I put everything back together. I got five of these for the price of one on other sites. Honestly I can't say if this product lives up to its claims or not. In my experience so far, while it was well packaged, looked and felt good, it was easy to use and my vacuum now works. I paid about $9 for five fuses and about $4 for connectors (from Home Depot), so my solution was cheap. The hardest part is disassembling and assembling the vacuum cleaner. If I really valued my time, I might just order a new vacuum cleaner. I think it was more in principle. I also learned more about vacuum cleaners! To update. Well, the first fuse blew. I blame it on the dirty filter I cleaned. I replaced the fuse as I have five of them. My new setup with adapters made it easy to replace. Let's see how the vacuum behaves. If it blows again I don't think I can blame the fuse. Problems can arise that cause the motor to overload and the fuse to do its job. Overall still happy with this purchase. Updated 10/28/2019. My shop vacuum still works fine. Updated 11/29/2019. Still works fine. Update 2-1-20 Blown fuse. I just installed another one using my setup above. The vacuum cleaner is back in action. still happy
