I have had smaller sizes of this needle set for over a year and have used several different sizes. The patina makes the needles smooth and pleasantly warms the hand. I liked them so much that I ordered this set in a larger size from the same company. I'm just as excited about the size 7-11 set as I am about the size 1-7 set. Other reviewers have complained that the smallest sizes are undersized; I didn't think that was true. They are made of solid bamboo and the coating further strengthens the needle. I also had no issues with inconsistent point sizes or point splits. These needles make a great set and a great addition to your needle collection. Knitters are always on the lookout for the right size needles, and often the right size is not readily available, leaving most knitters in need of a large set of needles for multiple craft projects. This set is a great way to add quality and quantity to your needle collection. These needles are qualitatively comparable to clover or other bamboo needles. I couldn't tell any noticeable difference. highlighted.
