Sharp but thin steel.
Very sharp but very thin blades. Over time they will break. For this reason, chef's knives are made of thicker steel. So far they are good but I wouldn't buy 2 sets if I saw the thickness first. I got young people who cook and me, lol, they're sentenced to the knife. But they are surprisingly sharp. Don't wash the dishes! The steel coating on the handles is tarnishing! Damn kids lol.
