NOT knitted with needle size 7

I really liked this yarn. I really, really have. The website description says size 7 needles so I figured they would work for the baby blanket I was knitting. However, when the yarn arrived it was much thicker than advertised and the recommended needle size was 13.THIRTEEN! Also made in China (according to packaging) which may explain a lot of the knots that other people have complained about. If it turns out I was sent the wrong thread - salesman, are you listening? I was sent a diagonal pattern #6 955114 968361 - and the actual yarn weight is closer to the promised DK. I would like to buy the right yarn,
