Exactly what I needed. Easily drilled out to accommodate a 0.5 " lamp base
This is a good solid foundation. the diameter needed for many pivoting lamps, but it is very easy to drill a hole to make these half-inch lamps fit. An added bonus is a thumbscrew that allows you to hold the lamp in a specific position. Good value for money.
