Bought these elsewhere (I should add, at a hefty discount) for a beginner watercolor lesson I just finished. While I can say that the pigment is really rich and obviously of high quality, the color scheme is weird and it's difficult to mix these shades to get the everyday colors you might want to use. (The teacher agreed.) For example, you have two shades of green: permanent green and veridian. The permanent one is light green, almost light green. Veridian is almost blue-green, but not "just dusty green". So if you are inexperienced in mixing shades to achieve a specific result I would recommend a different product, especially if you are new to the watercolor technique. As you progress, you can decide which colors you want to use regularly, and many tutorials list a set of standard colors in an artist's palette that are probably best purchased separately.
