Review on DT DIATOOL Diamond Porcelain Milling Tool: Effectively Mill Porcelain with Precision and Efficiency by Bill Russett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great - perfect tool for the job

I am building raised beds out of concrete block walls and want to add lighting. I bought brackets (at Revain) to be placed under the wall cap. The problem is that this causes wall caps to sit unevenly. I asked a question and got a great solution - I had to dilute the material. I was looking for concrete cutters ($$$$) and came across this product so I decided to give it a try. Use a diamond wheel (Samurai 5TBBlue0050 5in. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003SZRX9U?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) to cut a channel for the wire and slowly remove the material between the lines. Imagine if this drill bit was used primarily for harder rock (like granite) making the project a breeze! Despite the copious amount of dust (luckily I was outside and wearing safety goggles, earplugs and a respirator) the drill worked perfectly. I've had better luck sliding in and out from the side of the paver than side to side, but I used the latter to smooth out the cut. The end caps now sit flush with the top of the wall and look great. The tool dimensions were accurate too, but I removed the angle grinder guard as I needed all of the l. Great tool - I'm sure I'll use it for its intended purpose one day.
