Used it in critical conditions on 80 year old plaster walls where it's clearly NOT guaranteed by the manufacturer and it worked better than expected. This arrangement allowed me to use long screws for bolt attachment without costly or complicated anchors and minimized the risk of ripping old plaster as only a small hole was required at each shackle position. However, when used on 1/2" drywall where it should be flawless, it gives inconsistent results.
