This 2 7/8 hole saw was used to drill ONE hole in a sheet of stainless steel (beer keg) with cutting edges for oil . Before the hole was complete, the teeth of the crown disappeared and became jagged. Compare that to the used 2-1/2" Milwaukee Bi-Metal Hole Saw in my toolbox that cuts two holes in the same barrel with ease. Problems and no visible impact on the hole saw. The Milwaukee saw has been in use for the last 15 years used many times.
