Review on 📀 Enhanced Archgon MD-3102S-U3 USB 3.0 External Blu-ray Combo with Advanced Features by Paul Williams

Only arrived today. I plugged in my Win10 laptop (with only one port) and it recognized the drive straight away. I put in a DVD (Apollo 13) and it played great. The process took a maximum of 2 minutes. Good. Okay, since it's a well-known fact that Windows doesn't play Blu-ray discs natively, I already knew that a Blu-ray disc won't play if I haven't set up the bundled software. To save time, I followed the instructions in this product review published by gargamel314 on March 21, 2016. The process went smoothly, almost as he noted in the review. This took about 5-7 minutes. After that, I now have PowerDVD 12. Again, exactly as he noted in his review. I put in a Blu-ray Disc (The Force Awakens) and it played great and the drive was surprisingly quiet. I have a 4k screen on my laptop and the Blu-ray media looked amazing. So far the drive is fine, but as I noted, it only arrived today. I've given it 5 stars for now, but will adjust if necessary as I use it more. I could give 4 stars based on the software installation process, but that's up to Cyberlink, not the manufacturer of this drive.
