I read many reviews before purchasing this item. I was a bit confused about the fork build and why people were so upset. As well as questions whether it actually works or not. Let me address these two issues. The connector assembly requires some care during installation. Make sure you read and understand the instructions. If you don't get it right, both wires won't be broken and you won't have power. I connected the device and waited and waited and nothing. Then I realized the blue light was off and I needed to reconsider my work. Dismantled and found that only one wire pierced. Making sure the wire was a good fit and reinstalled and everything was perfect. Remember this is set up so you can feed the wire if you don't have power in your safe which is a great idea. It is not designed to move large volumes of air. This takes a few minutes and if you hold your hand over it you can feel the warm air. It's not much different than the bar system, but for me it works much better and more reliably. Ultimately, this was the perfect solution for me and takes up very little space in my vault. I find it a bit overpriced for what it is but I bought it and am very happy with it.
