I installed this on my 48v club car. It replaced the one I was using for about 9 years and then it failed. This one is smaller than my old one and about the same price. It was easy to install. Directions are pretty simple. It outputs 12.4 volts which I only use to turn on the headlights. My headlights and taillights only take 1 or 2 amps and I think the thing is rated for 10. So I could put a radio on my car in the future if I wanted to and still have the capacity. I think this converter is good value for money. I hope it lasts as long as the one it replaced.
