Review on 🔧 Honda Genuine Parts Cap, Filler (ATF) (25615-5T0-004): Quality Replacement Component for Optimal Performance by Montrell Copeland

I never expected that such an important detail would even deteriorate - but that happens on Civics with a CVT. Found the old one right next to the filler plug, open and visible (back left of battery) when I checked on the old one. I flushed the transmission to make sure everything was ok, replaced the plug and then a few weeks later when I thought I smelled transmission oil the old cap was removed and put back next to the filler plug. Called Honda, checked online - a common complaint. I wasn't sure if the new cap would make a difference, but it certainly does - the new cap is a lot tighter than the original. new transmission.
