Review on 🔲 Silver 30-Inch Broan-NuTone LB30 Kitchen Range Hood Box Liner by Adam Gardner

I recently had to replace a fan and add it to my overrange fan setup because mice fell into it and died. I can understand why it's happening here, but it's irrelevant to the review. Let's just say whoever installed the original screwed it up halfway, and I'm still living with some of the consequences. I decided to replace everything as the old one was a bit rusty and obviously rough. In any case, I had a lot of trouble finding power adapters or earbuds that seemed to fit the hole. I actually missed it a few times because it's listed as 30" and the hole I have is 28.5". I don't understand what the value means in this context as the overall width of my case is still less than 30" but is still 28 and 7/16" wide. I learned that from the spec on the Broan website, which is actually not that easy to find. The depth measurement is 17 1/4" from the same data sheet. Additional information is available on this data sheet, which can only be found by searching by part number. The width was perfect for my closet. but the depth was slightly less than mine. I solved this problem by buying a piece of metal plywood protection and attaching it to the wall to fill in the gap.It's not perfect but it looks quite nice compared to the emptiness.or a piece of wood.The metal looks pretty nice and sleek looking and while it's overpriced it's at least not poorly made and compared to some other options I've had it's unfortunately very affordable I've used it with the cheaper power module of the two that match s so that these modules are flush with the face of this insert.The module I replaced was hanging completely underneath and neither fans nor lights really fit in the liner.I mention there s because I had to remodel my cabinet with a sawmill, hacksaw and lots of swearing because the power module crashed into a useless cross member in the cabinet hood front and I wasn't expecting that. Check the dimensions of the PSU you are using and use the datasheet to see if you have room.
