Review on 🔪 3M Cubitron II Abrasive Fiber Disc, 33416, 5x7/8 in, 80 Plus Grit, 5-Pack, High-Performance, Fast Cut, Longevity by Dinero Bentz

These things cut better and last longer than anything I've ever used. They remove mill scale from hot rolled steel better than anything I've tried. I didn't believe the hype but I converted after trying them. If I remember correctly, I decided to try them after watching Japhand's YouTube videos. Another added benefit is that the backing or paper used is stronger so they don't tear easily. I sometimes catch the edges of the cheaper ones on the tin and rip out chunks depending on the twist (I hope that's descriptive enough), but they're thicker and that doesn't happen. I get 3 inches instead of 2 and cut them to a smaller size. diameter as they wear out to last even longer. Trust me, grab a few and give them a try. You are AGGRESSIVE! Haven't tried the lower grit yet, but they leave a rougher finish than any other 30 grit I've tried. I think that's because they stay sharp for the rest of their lives. If you're looking for a polished finish, try something different or maybe a higher grit. Designed for extremely fast grinding and shaping, they are ideal for smoothing welds. They cut so fast that you have to be careful, and they even seem to heat up less.
