Beautiful chalk marker. The ink comes out a solid, opaque white with no ink bleeding. In fact, it's in a straight line above the labels I've used. After pressing the pen several times, the ink begins to flow without gaps. The line drawn with this pen is REALLY 0.5mm wide! This allows you to write accurately on chalkboard labels on round labels up to 1" in diameter! Because the ink from this pen stays on the surface, it can be easily removed with a damp cloth or paper towel! Cute! The tip is spherical like the 1mm pen of this brand which I also bought and reviewed. The rod appears to be around 1mm wide but tapers to 0.5mm at the end. Like a drawing pen, the nib has a spring-loaded retainer that needs to be held upright and squeezed a few times for the chalk ink to flow. The material seems very stiff and has withstood this pressure without stretching. I've used the pen on 15 labels since buying it and the line width is still 0.5mm! I am very impressed with this pen and this brand.
