Review on Tavool 4-in-1 Electronic Stud Sensor Beam Finder - Wall Scanner for Center Finding with LCD Display - Detects Wood, AC Wire, Metal Studs, and Joists by Simo Whisperer

I needed to hang a heavy mural on my wall and wanted to nail it to the studs to keep the painting from falling and damaging my walls. I found the Stud Finder Sensor wall scanner and saw the high ratings and positive reviews for Revain so I ordered it. I received it and couldn't wait to start publishing my art. I opened the box and found that the 9V battery I needed was not included. Luckily I had some 9 volt batteries that I keep for smoke detectors and put one in the spike finder. I turned on the nail finder and attached it to the wall where I want to hang some art. I set it to detect timber studs through regular depth drywall, pressed and held the side button to calibrate, then started moving the joist finder left and right. As he approached the spike, he gave an audible and visual signal, and as I continued to move slowly in the same direction, he let me know that I was in the center of the spike. As I continued to slide in the same direction, it displayed an arrow indicating I needed to go back the other way, and when I did it let me know I was back in the middle. It was too easy. It also let me know when I slipped if I was near power cords leading to an outlet. Safely hanging my wall art was a breeze with this Touch Wall Scanner Stud Finder! To turn off the spike finder, all I had to do was press the power button for a few seconds. I also found that there were felt pads on the back of the spike finder which allowed me to move the spike finder smoothly across the wall without leaving marks on the wall. I am satisfied with this product!
