Pins that fit rim are too short

Dislikes: Short pins will not fit rim when rim and tire width mismatch or when using stretched tires. : It works, I tied them to my dual's tires at my shop, I don't do home wheel alignment so I just ship them, but my personal truck (double) hasn't touched a wheel alignment shop, although I've taught them step by step Step by step how to do it. Now I have flats when I change the suspension or feel something is wrong. You also need to consider the rear axle thrust angle, which is part of the straight-ahead position of the steering wheel. If you take a laser level and attach a belt to the rear wheels, you can use a tape measure on the front wheel to determine the ratio of the rear axle to the front axle, and then mount the front axle with plates. Solid axis and IFS align differently and use different methods. The moral is it worked, I wish the pins would work, I have a 7" wide rim with a 9.5" wide tire and the pins couldn't touch the rim. with 1.25" tire sidewall camber. I may add longer bolts later to make it work better, but tire binding works, an error of 0.5* is acceptable in practice, but I think it's accurate if you get it right tie so as not to deform the plates.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...
