Looks like you can use it in glass cages like.
When my package arrived I knew it was going to be huge but I underestimated the size. I thought my Pineapple Cheek Conure couldn't move the little pole. When I took it apart it came in 3 different pieces, looks like you could use it in glass cages too. After I gave her pellet food and some other treats, she walked over to the toy and started sorting it out. She was helped a little to understand what she needed to do. She could move pieces. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it for cheeks or anything else. I would not recommend this for a smaller bird, it would be too big and you will likely have trouble moving the disc or moving it at all. **** I added some pictures ***
