Beware of toy buyer

Do not buy this product Unfortunately my cockatoo loves it. Keeps him happy and busy. The only reason I bought the third one. the quality is beyond bad. Problems, the screw holding the pieces together is barely long enough to fit and the instructions aren't that good. The second big problem is that the plastic attachment on the birdcage wears out quickly and falls apart quickly (no stress). For a 20 euro bird toy I would have expected a much better quality.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Crumpled

Parrot toy Despair

The forging concept is good, but the results are very mixed. My green-cheeked sparrow figured it out quickly, but the food was either too easy to reach or too deep for him (or me). I'm trying to find a way to do this somewhere in between two extremes. In contrast, my oversized ring neck uses brute force, biting through one of the holes and trying to pull out the entire faceplate.) She was stopped just before she broke the device. We parrot owners are desperate for really good hammering toys…

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • No power

Good toy with some flaws

My open eyed cockatoo loves this toy. I fill it with granules and some seeds and hang it over a bowl. It's strong and it will work for a long time to get all the food out of it. Pros: Sturdy, holds a lot of food. Well suited for beginning collectors. and throws away what he doesn't want to take apart for cleaning. The first one I received broke when I first screwed it to the cage - don't over tighten the retaining piece! Difficult to insert and remove from holder; It's easier to take everything

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Piggy bank Price

Looks like you can use it in glass cages like.

When my package arrived I knew it was going to be huge but I underestimated the size. I thought my Pineapple Cheek Conure couldn't move the little pole. When I took it apart it came in 3 different pieces, looks like you could use it in glass cages too. After I gave her pellet food and some other treats, she walked over to the toy and started sorting it out. She was helped a little to understand what she needed to do. She could move pieces. I am very happy with this product and would recommend…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

May not be suitable for all birds

I was happy to install this on my Blue Front Revain Parrot. I put in some of her favorite seeds and let them sit without the shell for a day. She had pellets in the bowl. I saw her looking at the seeds through the clear plastic, trying to figure out how to get them. I was sure she would find out. I went to work for the day. When I got home from work, I saw that she had actually taken the seeds out of the wheel! Instead of searching for seeds through small holes, she ripped off the entire front…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Some nuances

Poor design, cannot be opened multiple times.

So honestly, unless it's absolutely necessary, don't open the circle. I did this because another review said they put cardboard inside to flatten the areas for her green cheeks. I chose to do this for mine because it was too deep for him to get all the treats ie a very upset bird. The screw was difficult to remove and screw in later, but I managed. Then I refilled the sections from the holes and the treat came out. When I had to make new cardboard inserts as the others had shifted and removed…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Everything's fine

birds love it! best in toys

My birds absolutely love this product. I have a gray African and blue and gold macaw that need their afterburners. I put different pellets in each section and then seeds/nuts/treats come in one section. I either place crepe paper like a gift basket or I place a sheet of white paper on top of the feed to enhance the feeding experience and then screw the lid on. I have to put a piece of tape on the screw or it just unscrews. I also put tape on the back of the mounting nut so it doesn't get lost…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Speed

Be patient and make the content interesting.

I love this toy and how easy it is to clean. I might consider buying another one so I can have two in my Eclectus cage. When I first got this toy, my eclectus was a champion at finding treats between torn paper filled with empty cereal boxes. I filled it with some almonds and pumpkin seeds and showed her how the toy worked. She desperately wanted to see what was inside, but it took her a minute to realize the hole was on the side, not the front. Then she didn't know how to rotate the toy to…

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Nothing here

My gray parrot is busy

My gray parrot loves this toy; When she found out how it works, she was right in the middle. It's now the only way to get seeds, and she's reduced the amount she can eat in a given period (leaving more room for healthy eating). who keeps her busy and entertained all the time. She's still a bit new to foraging and I think the clear plastic is useful for birds like her who need a visual stimulus to discover new toys. If she doesn't see what's inside, she often loses interest fairly quickly. That…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
