LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this brew machine and thanks to the reviews and recipes from BretonBird I started rocking and came out with a home run! This jam maker is very easy to use and takes all the hassle out of jam making for you. I've made Apricot Nutmeg, Vanilla Pear, Strawberry Plum, Peach Ginger, and Cherry Vanilla Jam and every batch turned out perfect. Following the basic recipes for different fruits from the little recipe booklet that came with it, I pour the pectin into the bottom of the jam pot, add the fruit and lemon juice if needed and some butter to reduce foaming, and start making the jam. machine and when it beeps add sugar and then do something else until it beeps. Dead easy! I never had to skim off excess foam, and the fruit was well cooked and ready for canning in a double boiler. The machine is also very easy to clean: just wipe the bottom and either hand wash the beater, pot and lid or throw them in the dishwasher. I have done both. This takes jam and marmalade making to a whole new level and you can imagine what I'm giving away as Christmas gifts this year!
