I'm picky about my shoes, both in terms of style and comfort. In both cases, they meet my high standards. I wanted sneakers for everyday use. Casual dining, friends dinner/barbecue etc. They have good leather insoles, good arch support but without being aggressive. thick skin. The quality is far superior to the big brand shoes. I'd say these are "designer" shoes, although I don't like that term, and not a shoe for mowing or cleaning in the garage. To do this, buy cheaper ones. My advice is the sizing. I wear a size 9 med in almost every street shoe and "designer" sneaker I own. I bought size 9 medium for these ugg sneakers. Great fit for me. no socks or "normal" thick socks. I would like to point out that for most athletic shoes like trainers and big brand sneakers I usually need a size 9 1/2 medium (often a 10 for a Nike.go figure).
