They add glue!

If the manufacturer had simply used a thicker adhesive instead of saving a few cents I would give the product a very good rating. However, the second time I opened the lid of a 5 gallon 9.5" x 9.5" vertical aquarium, the adhesive came loose! So for my own safety I used JB welding to make sure the handle never came off!
