I just changed the oil on my 2017 Audi Q7 and didn't have any of these washers on hand so figured I'd just use the old one. What mistake. The oil plug started leaking within an hour. I ordered these aluminum discs and they worked great. Oil no longer leaks out (you must ensure that the screw is tightened with the prescribed tightening torque). Also, as another reviewer mentioned, you need to make sure that the slotted side of the washer should face the oil pan and the smooth side of the washer should face the bolt head. Another member mentioned the pucks are too big well when I think about it as soon as you squeeze the puck they flatten out so if they were solid to begin with then there shouldn't be any room for expansion.
