The handle itself is very comfortable and of good quality. It is very roomy and is also equipped with straps to ensure grip on soft ground. However, there is a pretty big downside. We personally bought this for a ferret as it is advertised for other small animals. Well, in less than a few minutes, our ferret found a way out. The upper part of the handle has a secure mesh that closes with a zipper. However, the base of the handle is open and closes only with black fabric that attaches with Velcro at specific points on the underside. This only leaves the bottom very loose with many holes through which any animal can easily climb. This is something that should either be zipped up like the top, or at least sewn together to keep the bottom closed. If I misunderstand its purpose, it will prove to be a serious disadvantage.
