I installed them on a 1997 Toyota 4Runner 4WD to reduce rear sag when towing heavy loads and towing a small RV. With some ingenuity and the occasional swearing, I was able to install them without removing the springs and lower shocks. However, if you have a garage lift or large enough jacks, I would recommend removing the springs and other components per the instructions. I've had them installed for a couple of weeks and with normal use they run at around 8-10psi (seems to improve the ride a bit) and I bled them to around 25psi when I had around 700lbs of cargo in the back... no. sag at all and the ride was pretty good given the extra weight behind the rear axle.
