I bought this for my F-150 because the rear bumper is too high to jump on. Although my truck came with "old steps" as original equipment, I really didn't want to drop the tailgate every time I had to go to bed, so the BedStep fitted the bill for easy access. very simple, but read the instructions carefully before installing. For the assembly I needed 3 sockets (13mm, 15mm and 21mm) as well as two torque wrenches each (3/8" and 1/2") and extensions. The torque required is 129 ft-lb for the 21mm socket and 16 ft-lb and 33 ft-lb for the 13mm and 15mm sockets respectively. The frame is in place so make sure you have a short extension or 15mm deep socket to reach it. Wife and kids love the new step and I'm sure it will find many uses.
