Our 7 month old kitten NEEDS interactive games several times a day or she gets angry and destructive. So we have experienced many toys with it. His favorites have always been stick toys with feathers...until now. IMPRESSIVE! I never thought anything could top his favorite feather toys, but from the moment he started playing with this "sparkler" he was hooked! Started hissing at him a little (I think in response to the sound the mylar is making. He hears it kind of like a cat hissing.) Then chase, chase, chase! Even with feather toys he ran out of breath and failed and stopped playing. Not so with this one! Maybe he's out of breath and still wants to keep playing! And then he starts looking for it and meows when it's taken away because he still wants more. It is very funny! If the kitty had a best friend... it would be ours! He would seriously carry it with him at all times if he could! And let's face it, it can get a little boring for a human to keep playing, but this one keeps even us entertained with the kitty's constant antics! I love these toys too and the sticks are easy to swap out once the kitten destroys them. Not to mention it's made in the USA, so you're supporting American business. A+++!
