The first thing that caught my attention was the size. I needed a collar for a tree that was at least 30 inches wide at the base. I bought a galvanized tree collar last year before buying my tree sack which I keep rolled up at the base of my tree and my 27 inch tree collar just doesn't fit and also how parts of this tree collar fit together was easier to compress into my log sack, to stay in the collar. I chose to put the stencil lettering on the back to not distract from the wood. I like how it looks.
