Many years ago I bought a Tupavco 15dbi Yagi Wi-Fi antenna which was showing good results so I recently bought their 17dbi Yagi. This is about 1 and 2/3 stronger than 15dbi, better pulling signals. With 15dbi yagi I had trouble connecting to the nearest hotspot signal due to obstacles like a building in the way, but 17dbi boosts the signal enough that it can easily connect to the hotspot and with it I get good internet and decent ones Download speeds. Plug it into a good WiFi adapter (I use Alfa 1 watt adapters) and it works really well. It's picking up the signal from another access point almost 1/2 mile away from me (good line of sight with that signal) at 70-100% signal strength. This is a very good antenna.
