I bought this 5070 for a 2019 Ram 1500 (new body), front pillar holes. It's pretty easy to install. You don't need a rotor. I used a utility knife and used a template from the rear stake holes. (I covered it with tape then cut a hole. Then I placed it on the rail, traced it and then cut it out). You can easily cut along the cutting line without worrying. The ring is large and covers the neckline. The only thing I don't like is that the plastic on the front stanchion holes flexes a bit when tightening (see photo). It doesn't happen in the back.
