Nice to find a product that installs in under 10 minutes with a screwdriver and a sharp knife. It's best if it's made in the USA. They recommend buying a circular saw blade and cutter, but a simple razor blade is ideal.

Ram 2019 I bought these for my first pickup to load the mattress and innersprings onto the tonneau cover, but have used them countless times. The ability to lock the rings in the mounts also makes for a much better look. They also offer easier attachment than bed rings when the bed is full.

I used my Dremel tool with a small router base and a small carbide burr. Start in the center of the outlined area and slowly move towards the edge, cutting through the plastic. Carefully follow the line of the box with the razor slowly so as not to slip. I cut across to get the waste out. Loosen the Phillips screws until the bottom bracket comes off completely. I have installed two pairs of these 5070 front and 4001-XT rear on my 2020 Ram 1500 Rebel. I cut out the caps with a sharp utility knife, which works very well. Cut about 1/8 inch inside the factory front peg pockets. Had to cut out part of the comforter where it goes into the peg pocket on the back.
