Instructions are a little vague but I have included 4 photos showing how I did it on a new truck. There is a cut guide in the duvet. Carefully follow the line of the box with the razor slowly so as not to slip. I cut across to get the waste out. Loosen the Phillips screws until the bottom bracket comes off completely. Rock the gripper bar back and forth until it enters the hole. Lift the hook and tighten the screws. Make sure it is centered and hooks into the bottom of the bed steel. Under a neatly curved lip. They look factory made and are very durable. The back cutouts on my ram were already open, so follow the instructions above and trim off the remaining pieces.
