My 5 year old Husky loves to pull, no matter how hard I try to stop him he just loves to pull. His parents were both working dogs, so maybe it's just in his genes to breed. The only success I've had is the Caesar Milan trick when he puts the chain up around his neck and hugs him tight, he understands that, he doesn't like it either but he knows there's no way out, Because he can't, my wife wanted to walk with him too, but he's too strong for her, so she bought this headrest to help. I tightened it as tight as needed and the dog would try to take it off when angry. He scratched his nose and face on the ground until blood came out. He could also get his toenails behind it and literally rip it off his own head, and I held him tight to me. So it wasn't really me that hated it, it was my husky and the boy he hated. He couldn't stand the dangling part under his chin and it was driving him crazy. It might work for more fearful breeds, but definitely not for huskies. My Akita pup also hated the small version so my review, while poor, is honest based on a few days of trying it with my dogs. I hope others have had more success than me.
