Excellent but not what I expected. Definitely my fault

I was expecting the one with the little muzzle adjuster. I don't know if I didn't read the product description properly or just received a different product. I acted quickly when I saw the sale. This works pretty well, but since I don't have an adjustment component, my little dog can easily move his nose off his snout. I don't want to mess around with returns so I'll just sew it up to fit it best.

Great headwear concept

so i was really excited about this, i have a rat terrier and chihuahua mix and he loves to pull and everyone loves soft leashes so thought i would buy one for your pup. I'm a size 0 (smallest size) and even after putting on the straps it was still too big. I'm sure it's an amazing product but it just didn't work for me, that's the only reason I had to rate it the way I did. In addition, although the product is oversized and easy to use, it seems to be a quality material that was easy to grasp…

The collar does not fit, let alone stop pulling!

I first bought a size 1 for a Pomeranian/Corgi mix. The pack states that size 1 is suitable for West Highland and Shelties dogs. My dog slid out of this thing in seconds. Okay let's go smaller I thought and settled on size 0 which is advertised as suitable for bichon frize, mini dachshund and yorkshire terrier. Guess my dog slipped out of this one just as easily as the last one. My neighbor let me try a size 0 on his Chihuahua and Halti just fell off the dog. This brand needs to make smaller…

It takes time and training to use properly but is well worth it

I used to have Haltis Alphas but needed a smaller size than the ones I have for my little friend who takes walks pulls. It definitely makes a difference when used properly. Love the extra padding on the nose but the chin strap has been changed and now slips in his mouth which he hates. The others I have are fixed, and this chin strap tightens or loosens depending on the pull. I found I had to hold it more mockingly so it would stay under his chin better. Use positive reinforcement to help him…

Great for collars

We got our 8lb Yorkie just over a year ago and she has not been leash trained at all. Every time we tried to walk her with a leash attached to her collar, she would pull so hard she would choke. We also tried a harness meant to prevent pulling, which only saved her from choking but didn't help with the pulling. This headdress works great! She definitely needed some adjustment as she was dying to get it off her mouth the first few times, even after being talked into carrying it with treats…

New and improved? Too big and useless!

I have been using Halti collars on all my dogs for over 20 years. It was in my suitcase last week when it was stolen and I had to order another one. I ordered the size my dog has been wearing for 8 years. Imagine my surprise when it came out and not only was the design changed drastically, but there was NEVER a chance to make it small enough to fit her! It's size 0 and I can't make it small enough to fit a Jack Russell Terrier? She is not an unusually small dog. At its smallest size, you can…

Collars didn't fit me

I have a tiny chihuahua who has behavior problems when we encounter dogs while walking behind a fence. The trainer I see suggested soft leaders. I went to the local pet store, tried one on, and walked around the store with it for ten minutes or more. It was perfect. The price is quite high, so I've decided not to buy it yet. When I got home I checked the Gentle Leader ratings at Revain. It received a 4.2-star rating and over 12,000 reviews. Halti received 4.3 stars and over 5,000 reviews, and…

Works wonders. for collars, harnesses and leashes

I have a Miniature Pinscher who had a hard life before I adopted him. This resulted in him throwing, pulling, and running away from traditional harnesses and collars. Fearing it might run away and get hurt (or worse), I didn't take it out as often as I should have. I have tried several combinations of tethers, collars and escape devices and nothing has worked so far. I have trained my large breed dogs to walk with a collar and have always had great success. I've been using the same halti for…

My dogs hated it with a passion.

My 5 year old Husky loves to pull, no matter how hard I try to stop him he just loves to pull. His parents were both working dogs, so maybe it's just in his genes to breed. The only success I've had is the Caesar Milan trick when he puts the chain up around his neck and hugs him tight, he understands that, he doesn't like it either but he knows there's no way out, Because he can't, my wife wanted to walk with him too, but he's too strong for her, so she bought this headrest to help. I tightened
